Volkshochschule Ludwigshafen (Adult Education Center) provides quality, settlement-based German language courses to adult refugees and immigrants to help them adapt to life in Ludwigshafen and use German in their everyday activities.

Our German Language Assessment and Referral Center is your first point of contact where you will receive all the necessary information regarding our Integration and German language courses. Courses at all levels of proficiency are offered continuously and are based on demand. An overview of new courses is published regularly and can be found at www.vhs-lu.de. Please note that our course offer is bound to the school holidays of the Federal State of Rhineland Palatinate.

Course enrollment is only possible after a personal consultation or after you have taken a placement test. If available, please bring the following documents to the consultation with you:

  2. German language certificates
  3. your current contact information: address, telephone number, email address
  4. any documents pertaining to the integration/German courses issued by the unemployment office or the immigration office
